Notes

To cover the tape flips, I used a first-generation tape made with Sennheiser 441's > Sony TC-D5M that was also recorded behind the soundboard. I used Soundforge for the patches, and to make fades where needed. The cross-faded patches are located at:
-- 3:10 of BIODTL thru 0:04 of Dupree's,
-- 0:46 thru 1:20 of Space,
-- 0:01 thru 0:26 of The Wheel.
The entire show is now seamless and uninterupted by tape-flips. You can fit this onto two 80-minute discs if you cut out the five tuning and stage announcement tracks. There's some PA-mix issues during the first part of Bucket, then things improve nicely.

The quality of this audience tape is spectacular. I very rarely listen to a straight aud tape (prefer SBD or matrix), however, this recording is incredibly rich and makes you feel like you're in the crowd. Thanks to the tapers!
Subject: Best of the recordings of this event
whatever, same q for many shows like 10/12/84 or the playin china doll high time from 4/27/84 which is being hoarded based on economic class. In fact that playin doll high time didn't even make it onto their $800 thumbstick. It'd cost me $800 to get their SBD of 10/12/84. I need it, cause, it was one of my first few shows, when we were young, that rocked us to the core. in high school, Augusta, Maine, best show for a long time if your an Eastie 16 year old head. Some shows need to be free and the best recording free due to how the show changed so many lives. I don't expect that often, but at 10/12/84 they not only rocked, but I was over the top. We still visit the augusta Maine civic center as if its a shrine whenever we go to Maine. And it is still functioning If u were there u know. 4 stars for the taper, 1 star for the bands in atttention to the archive's gaps.

Gets 5 stars because the sound and set list.
Subject: greatest intro I ever heard
Subject: Nawlins
Check out 11/8/70 which has a killer string of rare covers, including New Orleans, Searchin and the then rare Baby Blue.
